The Spawn, also known as the fountain, is where the summoner's champion spawns, respawns after dying, and appears after Recalling. Players can purchase items while at spawn, regain health and mana rapidly, and are protected by the Nexus Obelisk. Upon a player disconnecting, their champion will attempt to return to the Spawn by walking. The term fountain is a leftover from LoL's predecessor Defense of the Ancients, in which heroes spawned from the fountain.
Each team has their own Spawn located behind their Nexus on the edge or corner of every map. They are in the bottom left (blue) and top right (purple) of Summoner's Rift and Howling Abyss, and the middle left/right of Twisted Treeline and Crystal Scar (these spawns have top/bottom exits).
The Spawns in Summoner's Rift, Crystal Scar and Twisted Treeline will rapidly regenerate a percentage of the champion's maximum health and mana every second (Summoner's Rift 2.1% per 0.25 second). If the champion has the enchantment and hasn't been in combat in the last 8 seconds, he/she will be given a large speed boost and will regenerate health and mana even faster.
The Spawn in Howling Abyss does not regenerate health or mana, and leaving the immediate vicinity disables usage of the shop until the next time the champion spawns.
Player disconnection Править
When a player leaves the game, his or her champion will automatically attempt to walk back to base. Soon after arriving at the base, the champion gains a huge bonus to magic resistance and armor; this is to prevent enemies from using global abilities (like Requiem and Whirling Death ) to instantly kill champions that have disconnected early in the game. Players who have disconnected prior to the start of the game are granted the same bonus armor and magic resistance.
- Until the release of Draven, disconnected players only received 1000 MR in the fountain. This was changed after Draven's release to 1000 MR and 1000 armor as his ultimate was the first global ability to deal physical damage.
